Getting started

  1. Click + New Monitor and paste your site URL (defaults: https, 443).
  2. Open the monitor and click Run check now.

We keep a history of checks to track expiry/errors over time.

Monitors list

  • Status: OK / WARN / ERR reflect the latest check.
  • Days left derived from certificate notAfter.
  • Search/sort UI (host, status, days left) rolling out.

Checks & certificate details

  • Subject CN, Issuer, validity, key bits, signature algorithm, SANs, SHA-256 fingerprint.
  • Latency = TLS handshake + peer cert retrieval.
  • Raw PEM stored (download coming soon).

TLS & Cipher support

  • TLS 1.0–1.3 handshakes; curated cipher probes ≤ TLS 1.2.
  • TLS 1.3 suite: we show the negotiated suite reported by PHP streams.
  • Planned: ALPN (HTTP/1.1 vs h2), HSTS, OCSP stapling, chain completeness, security score.

Reports & dashboards

  • Expiring: ≤N days (default 30), e.g. ?days=7.
  • Invalid: failed/expired checks.
  • Logs: audit (login, user, settings).
  • Dashboard: totals, expiring soon, errors, never-checked.

Email alerts

  • Configure under Settings → Email (recipients, cooldown, SMTP, self-signed toggle).

Users & access

  • Only active global admins see the admin drawer.
  • Safety rails: can’t demote/deactivate yourself; can’t remove last active admin.

Troubleshooting

  • Handshake failed: server rejects cipher/protocol, SNI mismatch, or network block.
  • No peer certificate: service didn’t present a cert on that port.
  • OpenSSL missing: PHP extension not enabled.
